JF Society and culture: general
Use JF* codes for both general and academic works on social topics; use with JH* codes for sociology textbooks and other specialist works on sociology / anthropology. See also VFV* codes for popular accounts, personal issues and practical advice
JH Sociology and anthropology
Reserve JH* codes for textbooks or academic and specialist works; use with other J* codes indicating specific topics where appropriate
JK Social services and welfare, criminology
JM Psychology
For clinical psychology, use MMJ “Clinical psychology”; for educational psychology, use JNC “Educational psychology”; for psychotherapy, use MMJT “Psychotherapy”; for sports psychology, use WSDP “Sports psychology”
